The Valk Welding Group, headquartered in Alblasserdam (Netherlands) develops, builds, and integrates welding robot systems for European industrial companies. With this, the company makes an important contribution to the automation of welding production at both SME and large companies. Since its establishment in 1961, Valk Welding has grown into a company with 10 subsidiaries in Europe, with approximately 200 employees and an annual turnover of about EURO-75,000,000. Remco H. Valk, the current CEO, has in recent years gradually transferred the daily management to the current management team, and will continue to be involved indirectly and as an advisor within the Valk Welding Group.
Valk Welding is among the pioneers in the field of welding robotization. Since this Dutch family business took the step towards internationalization of its activities in 2004, the company has acquired a prominent position in the Central and Northern European market and expects to achieve further growth with the locally operating companies in all countries.
