The arc welding robot installation is being used for the welding of bridge components.
Because of the complex reachability of the products the robot was mounted on a Gantry. At this installation the Panasonic TL-2000 WGH3 welding robot is used. Among that the installation is equipped with Positioners that can handle 2000kg. In this video you see the perfect cooperation between the robot and the external axis which gives the installation a 100% reachability in all corners and welded parts. For the checking of the correct parts the installation is equipped with the Quick Touch Sensing software.
