The installation consist of a 18 meter long track, 3 welding stations and 2 arc welding robots which are mounted on different gallows. The welding stations are equipped with a dropcenter manipulator, a L-manipulator and a counter bearing. Next to that the arc welding robot installation has several features such as Quick Touch Sensor, Arc-Eye laser camera and automatic wire exchange. This configuration enables a continuous welding process performed by both arc welding robots. The programming is realized through the offline programming software DTPS.
