This arc welding robot installation is used for the welding of semi-trailers for heavy haulage.
The robot installation exists out of two welding stations, one for welding of complete chassis and the other station is used for welding sub-asssemblies. Two welding robots are mounted on a double slide system which is mounted to the large XYZ configuration. This guarantees a maximum reachability of the product. The programming of the robot is done with DTPS offline programming software.
