Ode to craftmanship

Partners of Valk Welding celebrate the winter months with year-end craft beer from Boeren Brouwers.

As a developer of robot systems for the welding industry, Valk Welding owes everything to craft: welders have laid the foundation for our profession, and together we continue to build on it every day. Boeren Brouwers, an independent craft brewery founded by two brothers, is offering an ode to craftmanship this year with a limited edition year-end beer. To celebrate our own craftsmanship, we are sharing this Tripel hop beer with various business partners during the winter months.

Hops as craftmanship in this tripel

In this Tripel, the added hops play a crucial role in shaping the beer's character. The first hop gives the beer a fresh and fruity flavour, while the second hop gives a subtle bitter and spicy taste. The third hop variety provides an intense aroma and contributes to a full and rich flavour experience. And yet this Tripel maintains its balance. That is craftsmanship.

Craftmanship of the 21st century

For more than 60 years, the people behind Valk Welding have been working on efficient, flexible and advanced welding technology. And although a lot has changed in that time, we still master our craft with the same expertise. This is reflected in the major technological shifts we have realised or experienced together: robotic welding now supports manual welding, online programming is slowly giving way to automatic offline programming, and much more. Behind all these innovations lays passion, creativity and quality craftsmanship.

Homegrown beer

Boeren Brouwers grows the ingredients for their beer directly on their own farmland, focusing on seasonal ingredients and sustainability. For the year-end beer, the brothers have grown three different hop varieties that work together to create a complex flavour experience. How do they manage to balance this spicy and fruity Tripel? As they have said themselves: that is craftmanship.
